  1. INPORTANT CHANGES!!!

  3. The file format has changed from 0.99 to 1.00.  If you have not already
  4. done so, please go to the AppBar home page, download the 99to100.exe
  5. conversion program and run it.
  6.  
  7. The AppBar's file naming system has changed.  Datafiles are now named:
  8.  
  9. appbar.default
  10. appbar.%USER%
  11.  
  12. where %USER% is the username, obviously.  This makes file management
  13. simple since all of AppBar's files now start with "appbar".  Obviously,
  14. this requires long filename support.  If you do not have this (because
  15. you are on a Netware drive or some other reason), you can use the +f
  16. command line switch to tell AppBar to use another 8.3 filename.

  18. If you already have a datafile created, you can either use the +f
  19. operator to tell AppBar to use it instead or you can simply rename
  20. the file to appbar.default.
